The 1988 ZX-400 F3 is a variant of the 399 cc ZX-400 with the same DOHC transverse four and four-carburettor engine. Its tyre sizes differ from the standard 1988 model: it runs a 17-inch front and an 18-inch rear, against the 16-inch wheels of the regular bike. Kawasaki's F3 name appears on the page without a separate spec sheet for the variant.
